Gretchen Reydams-Schils is associate professor in the Program of Liberal Studies at the University of Notre Dame. She is the author ofDemiurge and Providence: Stoic and Platonist Readings of Plato’s "Timaeus," andAn Anthology of Snakebites: On Women, Love and Philosophy.
