First edition, (vi), 152pp, illustrated mainly in black & white with 8pp colour plates, red cloth, gilt spine lettering, unclipped dust jacket, small closed tear to top edge of rear cover, tear with small loss to bottom of front cover, spine sunned. Written to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth. The author's notes explain "I first thought o write this book in 1953 when I was working for Lord Kemsley. Because it was spending dollars to 'buy wholesale' from the American syndication market, my set-up became temporarily satellie to Ian Fleming's Foreign Department. Fleming involved me that year in finding an artist, Ken Lewis, to do the jacket for a book he had written, but about which he had no great expectation. It was the first James Bond novel, Casino Royale. He was indirectly responsible for sidetracking me from tackling my own book project for that year. Size: 10 x 7 Inches. British Monarchy.
