Elisabeth A. Parker is a technology writer and consultant specializing in Web site design and development. Recent books include Home Page Improvement (IDG Books), Build a Web Site in a Day (Ventana), and Netscape Communicator: A Jumpstart Tutorial (Charles River Media).

In her past lives, Elisabeth graduated with a B.A. in English from Boston College; taught American Literature and Creative Writing to high school students; published The Fine Print, a bimonthly magazine focused on Boston's arts, music, and political scene for three years; and freelanced her graphic design, production, writing, and editing abilities to anyone who would pay her.

Elisabeth now lives in San Francisco, CA with her husband, Rich Grace,and Puddy the big, fat cat.
