Hardware requirements: Joy requires first that you have obtained and installed a Macintosh version of Mathematica. 950 K of RAM in addition to the memory that you set aside for Mathematica. It is compatible with virtual memory and also with Mathematica 2.2 (it requires at least 1.2) and System 7.1 (it requires at least 6.0.4). It can be used by a single user who is running Joy and Mathematica (front end and kernel) on a Macintosh.
