Developmental Mathematics, Fifth Edition, is a comprehensive text intended for use by students needing a review in arithmetic skills before covering introductory algebra topics. The text begins with a review of arithmetic concepts, and then develops statistics, geometry, and introductory algebra. It is designed for use in combined (two-semester) courses and to prepare students for statewide or local mathematics proficiency exams.
