Serge Lee, PhD, is a statistics and research professor in the Division of Social Work at California State University, Sacramento for over 22 years. He is an expert on international social work, acculturation and assimilation issues of immigrants and refugees, as well as health and mental health of minority groups.
Maria C. Silveira Nunes Dinis, PhD, MSW, is a professor for the Division of Social Work at California State University, Sacramento (CSUS). Dr. Dinis is the Admissions Director for the Master of Social Work program at CSUS. Dr. Dinis is a member of the California Health and Human Services Agency, Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects. She has published in the areas of alcohol and drug treatment, policy, and prevention. Her interests are in multicultural issues in regards to alcohol and drugs, women, and global social work.
Lois Lowe is retired as a behavioral researcher from the State of California and does independent consulting. She has been a member of the state's Department of Health & Human Services Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects 30 years. Over the years, she has conducted many research studies which were released as government reports. Some of her research was published in journal articles and chapters in government publications. More recently she has served on dissertation committees. Her strong interest has been in the statistical part of the research. Currently she focuses on health and criminal justice research.
Kelly Anders is Director of Academic Personnel and Systems in the Office of the Provost at the University of California, Davis. She advises the administration, deans' office staff and faculty on all matters related to academic personnel policies, procedures, and practices. Kelly provides leadership and analytical support for development and integration of multiple information technology solutions for academic personnel processes.
