Karla Pollmann is Professor of Classics at the University of Kent, Adjunct Professor of Theology at the University of Århus, Denmark, and Professor Extraordinary at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. She has published monographs on late antique poetry, Augustine's hermeneutics, and most recently a commentary, with introduction and text, onStatius, 'Thebaid' 12 (2004).

Willemien Otten is Professor of the Theology and History of Christianity at The University of Chicago Divinity School.
