This is the first of a two-part Key Stage 4 French course for lower-attaining students, who are not necessarily GCSE candidates. The students' text contains a variety of activities to match students' interests and experiences. Each study module has an in-built review and assessment unit. The course is fully compatible with the National Curriculum programme of study, and is written in French throughout in order to facilitate the use of the target language in the classroom. This students' textbook is accompanied by a workbook, a teacher's text and cassettes.
