One in four GP consultations involves a child under five years of age. This book is designed to provide the practising GP with all the information needed to deal with common paediatric problems in the community. It provides an overview of current paediatric surveillance checks and a scheme for assessment of sick children in the community. The core text is taken from the successful "Oxford Handbook of General Practice", and then edited together to cover the full breadth of GP paediatrics in one easy to access volume.
