LAUREN STRINGER is a celebrated painter who has illustrated such favorites as Our Family Tree: An Evolution Story by Lisa Westberg Peters; Castles, Caves, and Honeycombs by Linda Ashman; and Mud by Mary Lyn Ray. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
