Dr Manny Noakes is the co-author of The CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet Books 1 & 2 and the CSIRO Healthy Heart Program. She is the stream leader for the Diet and Lifestyle Interventions for CSIRO Human Nutrition. She is also involved in the National Heart Foundation's Tick program and the National Centre of Excellence for Functional Foods (NCEFF).

Dr Jane Bowen heads up the team of writers for the book. She is a research dietitician and project coordinator for the national survey 'Kids Eat, Kids Play'.
