Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Robin Klein was born in New South Wales, one of nine children. Her great-grandfather was an Irish convict sentenced to life transportation for highway robbery. Robin had her first short story published when she was sixteen. In 1981 she was awarded aLiterature Board grant for writing and has since had over fifty books published and won many Australian awards. She now lives in the hills near Melbourne.
