Inhaltsangabe

First published in 1966 ORANGES is the book that established McPhee as the most charming and strange of American essayists. In a remarkably small number of words, ORANGES gives both a history of humanity's love for the fruit and a wonderful pictureof Florida - a state transformed from dreary barrenness to one, vast orange grove by the world's insatiable demand for orange juice.
