Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
A native of Baltimore, and a graduate of Princeton and Yale Law School, Walter Lord served in the OSS during World War II before becoming a business editor and later an advertising copy-writer. The outstanding success of A NIGHT TO REMEMBER inspired him to devote his full time to research and writing. His other major historical works include DAY OF INFAMY, A TIME TO STAND, and THE MIRACLE OF DUNKIRK
