Dr Chris Cook has been Editor of Pears since 1976. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and visiting Research Fellow of the London School of Economics. He has written several other books, including Post War Britain (Penguin), A Short History of the Liberal Party 1900-1992 and various historical handbooks.
