Inhaltsangabe

Eloise is visited by four strange men in city suits. Soon afterwards she declares herself determined to have a baby, and begins behaving strangely, wandering in the Welsh Hills despite the fact that there's a sex offender on the run. Eloise returns from the hills with a new born baby with the most startling green eyes and for some reason the cat won't stay in the same room as it. As Miriam, her godmother, begins to learn about the history of the house from the locals, Eloise's mother determines to get her back to London and civilisation.
