Icon is a very high-level goal-orientated programming language developed at Arizona University in the 1980s and still used although not being developed further. Its origins lie in Snobol. This items comes with several 5.25" floppy discs holding copies of the language and the program library of version 5.9 and 6.0. The most recent version, 9.5.1, is also available for both Unix and Windows and can be downloaded from the Icon Project section of the University of Arizona web site. Artikel-Nr. 000159
