Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

James S. Leonard is Professor of English at The Citadel. He is coauthor of The Fluent Mundo: Wallace Stevens and the Structure of Reality and coeditor of Satire or Evasion? Black Perspectives on Huckleberry Finn, also published by Duke University Press.

David Bradley is an associate professor of creative writing at the University of Oregon and the author of "South Street" and "The Chaneysville Incident", the latter of which won the PEN/Faulkner Award in 1982 and was a finalist for the National Book Award. The novel also earned Bradley an Academy Award for literature. Bradley has published essays, book reviews, and interviews in periodicals and newspapers including "Esquire", "Redbook", the "New York Times", the "Los Angeles Times", and the "New Yorker".

Dana D. Nelson is Associate Professor of English at Louisiana State University. She is the editor of the Oxford edition of Rebecca Rush's Kelroy.


Joseph Csicsila is Associate Professor of English at Eastern Michigan University and Associate Editor of the Mark Twain Annual.
