The third edition of Politics UK builds on the success of previous editions while bringing the text right up to date with enhanced coverage of contemporary political issues. Divided into seven parts, it opens by analysing the historical context of UK politics, moving on to the contemporary context (social and economic structure, political culture and participation), political ideologies and political concepts before addressing the representative process (elections, voting behaviour, media, parties and pressure groups).
