Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

T. Pullaiah earned his PhD from Andhra University and then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Moscow State University (1976–1978). He is a former Professor of Botany at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, where he taught for more than 35 years. He served as president of the Indian Botanical Society in 2014 and of the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy in 2013. His honors include the Panchanan Maheshwari Gold Medal, the Prof. P. C. Trivedi Medal, the Dr. G. Panigrahi Memorial Lecture Award of the Indian Botanical Society, and the Prof. Y. D. Tyagi Gold Medal of IAAT. A prolific author and editor, Prof. Pullaiah has mentored students throughout his career and, for several years, has also been a member of the IUCN Species Survival Commission, a global network of over 10,000 volunteer experts dedicated to conserving biodiversity and preventing species extinction through science-based action and collaboration.



Dr. P.B. Raghavendra is currently affiliated with School of Regenerative Medicine, Manipal University, Bangalore, India, and has served as Director of School of Chemical and Biological Sciences, REVA University. He is the author of Book Advances in Cell and Molecular Diagnostics and a number of articles and book chapters on various aspects of medical sciences and life sciences published in International journals. He is a visiting professor and technology consultant for many universities and biotechnology companies.

Dr. S. Karuppusamy is currently affiliated with the Department of Botany, The Madura college, Madurai, India. He was Post Doctoral Fellow at Sri Krishnadevaraya University. He has published 10 books and 120 research papers. He was awarded Prof. Y.S.Murthy Gold Medal from Indian Botanical Society.

Dr. V. Raveendran is working as Associate Scientist, Cardiovascular Research Program, King Faisal Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was a Post-Doctoral fellow at Department of Internal Medicine, University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas, USA.

Dr. Maniyam Anuradha is a distinguished academic and innovator in the fields of nutraceuticals and functional food development. With over 30 years of experience spanning research, industry, and education, she currently serves as Principal and Director of R&D at Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences, Bengaluru. Her extensive work in plant bioactives, nutritional enhancement, and food processing technologies has led to multiple patents and government-funded projects. A former senior scientist at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Sami Labs Ltd., Dr. Anuradha has also pioneered academic programs in nutraceutical and food processing sciences in India. Her contributions have bridged the gap between laboratory innovation and real-world food solutions, making her a recognized leader in the integration of biotechnology and food science.
