Brian Horton is the Alexander Deussen Professor of Energy Resources at the University of Texas at Austin and has a joint appointment with the Department of Geological Sciences and Institute for Geophysics in the Jackson School of Geosciences. His research addresses the tectonics of sedimentary basins, evolution of orogenic systems, sediment provenance, and nonmarine depositional processes.
Andrés Folguera has studied different aspects of the magmatism from the Cretaceous to the Cenozoic and its sublithospheric controls through time.

About the Editors

His research addresses tectonics of sedimentary basins, evolution of orogenic systems, sediment provenance, and nonmarine depositional processes.
Andrés Folguera is a Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, as well as a Research Scientist with CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council). His research focuses on the tectonics, structure, magmatism, geomorphology and neotectonics of the central and southern Andes, particularly for the last 100 million years of their evolution.
