What happens when a mighty media corporation takes over a small English zoo? Conflict, confusion, complete and other chaos.
Rollo Lee is dispatched by the world-wide conglomerate, Octopus Inc, to run its newly acquired holding, Marwood Zoo. In an attempt to turn the zoo around, he clumsily implements a Fierce Creatures Policy - keeping the ferocious animals to attract crowds, but getting rid of the docile, adorable ones.
But Rollo himself is deposed by Willa Weston and her unwanted colleague, Vince McCain, who, to the consternation of the zoo-keepers, is determined to turn the zoo into what he terms a 'multiple-facility-merchandising-opportunity'. In other words, an incipient theme park.
