Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Eileen Ascroft (1914–1962) spent a lifetime in journalism, working for such publications as the Daily Mirror—until she was fired for using the director's office door as a dartboard during a party—and the Evening Standard, eventually assuming responsibility for the promotion and control of a large magazine empire. Joanna Lumley is an actress and one-time Bond girl best known for her role in Absolutely Fabulous.
