Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Ib Michael wurde 1945 in Roskilde bei Kopenhagen geboren. Er studierte mittelamerikanisch-indianische Sprachen und Kulturen und unternimmt seit Jahren ausgedehnte Expeditionen u. a. nach Südamerika, Polynesien, China und Tibet. Im Ausland wird Michael bereits euphorisch als Glücksfall der Literatur gefeiert, in seiner Heimat ist er ein literarischer Star - und mit seinen Abenteuer- und Reiseromanen voll inneren und äußeren Handlungsreichtums hat er sich in die Köpfe und Herzen seiner Leser geschrieben. "Kilroy Kilroy" war der Roman, mit dem er in Dänemark den Durchbruch zum Bestsellerautor schaffte.
