Inhaltsangabe

BILBO'S LAST SONG is Tolkien's poignant epilogue to The Lord of the Rings. Set in the last moments of the book Tolkien gives us Bilbo's thoughts as he prepares for his final voyage to the Undying Lands beyond the sunset. The song is both a longing to set forth on his ultimate journey and a tender farewell to friends left behind. Pauline Baynes' jewel-like paintings illuminate the text to make a stunning gift book that no Tolkien enthusiast will want to be without. Published to coincide with the release of the second LORD OF THE RINGS motion picture, The Two Towers.
