Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Ian Stewart, Mathematikprofessor, verfaßt regelmäßig Kolumnen in "Scientific American" und "Spektrum der Wissenschaft" und ist Autor des populärwissenschaftlichen Erfolgsbuchs "Spielt Gott Roulette?" Terry Pratchett, geboren 1948, verkaufte seine erste Geschichte im zarten Alter von dreizehn Jahren und ist heute einer der erfolgreichsten Autoren überhaupt. Neben Douglas Adams und Tom Sharpe gilt er als Großbritanniens scharfsinnigster und pointensicherster Komik-Spezialist. Er lebt mit seiner Frau Lyn und seiner Tochter Rhianna in Wiltshire.
