See note. * Besides the usual things, includes recipes for barbel, bream, char, chub, dace, grayling, gudgeon, perch, pike, roach, tench and squirrel. Mrs Walker was the mother of Richard Walker. Maurice Wiggin provides a foreword. * This copy comes from the library of Dick Walker's good friend, Pete Thomas. The front end-paper carries a signed inscription "To Pete and Pat Thomas, with love. 'I count myself in nothing else so happy, as in a soul remembering my good friends.' (Richard II), E.M. Walker." Loosely laid in is a poem about books, also signed by E.M. Walker. Also laid in is a copy of the address given at St. Andrews, Biggleswade on 20th October, 1985, at a service of thanksgiving, by Frederick H. Buller together with a printed and signed note from Ron Coleby (dated 26 Jan 86) to a former owner stating ".At last I have managed to have a photocopy made of the Richard Walker memorial address and this I enclose for your Walker collection."
