Reseña del editor:
The only text to take a critical approach to the field of corrections, Corrections offers a unique and refreshing presentation that encourages students to think analytically about punishment. Establishing a greater social context, Corrections addresses the political, economic, religious, and technological forces that affect the corrections system. The book consistently introduces clear, meaningful, and exciting examples that illustrate various issues and concepts addressed.
