Harrison’s is an encyclopedic reference work covering the practice and science of internal medicine. Beginning with a section on general topics (including evidence-based medicine, screening and prevention of disease, geriatrics and end-of life care), the book proceeds to cardinal manifestations of disease (such as back pain, fever and headache), which remains the most popular section of the book.
