This is an intermediate-level Spanish text with an accompanying workbook. Students work on development of their conversation and composition skills while exploring themes and questions. There is an authentic reading in each chapter to help students develop their reading skills and an audio component is available which is integrated into the core textbook and the student workbook. The text has been developed specifically for composition and conversation and the "Nuevos Destinos" video series is integrated into each chapter, providing a story from which topics and questions are culled. Cultural boxes in each chapter address the topic of "communication" from a Spanish-speaking perspective. There is also a CD-ROM available to accompany this text.
