Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Gershon J. Shugar is a professor emeritus of engineering technologies at Essex County College, Newark, New Jersey. In 1947, Dr. Shugar founded a chemical manufacturing business that became the largest exclusive pearlescent pigment manufacturing company in the United States. In 1968, he was appointed assistant professor of chemistry at Rutgers University, where he taught until his appointment at Essex County College.

Jack T. Ballinger, Ed.D., is a professor of chemistry at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Ballinger has taught both chemistry and chemical technology courses for the past 29 years. He implemented one of only six chemical technology programs in the United States to be certified by the American Chemical Society. Professor Ballinger has eight years of industrial chemical experience, ranging from the petroleum industry to packaging materials.
