Although at first glance it appears that Sack attempts to cover far too many topics, it is soon evident that he offers an impressive amount of useful information. In addition to the subjects mentioned in the title, Sack discusses child snatching, child and spouse abuse, marital rape, adoption, child support, and tax considerations, and includes a particularly valuable initial chapter on how to use a lawyer effectively. Sack has provided many helpful charts and tables breaking regulations down by state. He cannot be faulted for his lack of attention to the psychological elements of these sensitive subjects, since the work is designed as a legal guide. Recommended.
