Bill Strickland began fishing for Atlantic salmon in 1958, and has made annual pilgramages to the world's Atlantic salmon rivers ever since. His articles on Atlantic salmon have appeared in Fly Tyer, American Angler, and the Atlantic Salmon Journal. His retirement from work as a research chemist has freed him to pursue the Atlantic salmon in a more leisurely fashion, mostly in New Brunswick's Miramichi River system.
