Finite element analysis (FEA) is a widely used method for analyzing a structure or any complex system by means of subdividing the structure or system into smaller elements that can be easily evaluated. Also presented are detailed chapters on structural analysis, steady-state thermal analysis, transient heat transfer analysis and fluid flow analysis using SUPERFLOW. The book should be especially helpful to engineers in smaller firms, or smaller departments in larger firms, where computer resources are limited.
