Kin Platt (1911–2003) was the author of the perennially popular I Can Read Book Big Max, as well as several outstanding young-adult novels and the Max Roper mystery series for adults. Mr. Platt was also a noted cartoonist.



Kin Platt, the author of several novels for young adults, lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Robert Lopshire is author-illustrator of I Am Better Than You!, an Early I Can Read Book®, as well as several other children's books. He lives in Wilmington, DE.
