Ronald W. Clark was born in London in 1918. Among his acclaimed works are The Huxleys, JBS (the biography of biologist J.B.S. Einstein: The Life and Times took Clark three years of research and writing. He traveled across Switzerland, Germany, France, Britain, Canada, and the United States, and was allowed access to the Einstein archives at Princeton, Zurich, and Ulm. He also made use of unpublished material at the Weizmann Institute, the Amercian Jewish Archives, and the House of Lords Record Office. Mr. Clark died in 1987.
