A little girl resents having to help care for her younger brother, but after an imaginary moonlight flight with a tiger, she decides not to let the tiger take him away. After all, her parents might miss himand she might too. The tiger, sleek, silky and benevolent, comforts the young heroine with its soft fur that warms and keeps her safe. Its bright eyes glisten with understanding while they appear to look right at young listeners. Even everyday objects seem infused with a special magic.
