Mike Jefferies was brought up on a cattle station in Australia, worked his way through art school in London, sleeping rough for lack of a grant. After gaining his degree he worked in commercial art for a while, then carved rocking horses but became bored and learned to ride. He was later selected for the British 3-Day Event Team. Despite his dyslexia, he has now written ten novels.
THE FABRIC OF TIME IS WEARING THIN
The walls of reality are crumbling. Parallel worlds of unimaginable chaos are breaking through. Unless something is done soon, the hidden echoes of Man’s past – mythical monsters and nightmare creatures – will rise up and lay waste to Earth.
In the City of Time, the clocks of creation are slowing down. Time is quite literally, running out. The future of the world must be recreated, rewritten by new visionaries. As a last desperate hope, Tholocus, Clockmaster of Eternity, must send his Waymaster on a perilous journey to bring back two prophets from Earth – one a creator of fictional worlds, the other an environmental scientist.
Meanwhile, on present day Earth, the cracks are already appearing: plagues of frogs, sightings of strange beasts, even dragons in the sky …
