A rich and imaginative worship resource which brings together a hundred ‘prayer psalms’: themed prayers taken from New Testament passages and arranged in the form of a psalm. This offers a fresh way to reflect on the ‘good news’ of grace.

Compiled by Desmond O’Donnell, and written by Maureen Mohen, each psalm is made up of scripture couplets from the New Testament (using the increasingly popular NRSV text) with a linking theme. The psalms are also helpful cross-referenced. The themes include: Blessing, Celebration, Suffering, Encouragement, Family, Fatherhood, Hope, Light, Listening, Patience, Peace, Simplicity and Worship. Readers can either pray through a particular theme or choose a psalm which reflects their spiritual needs.
The authors have created a wonderful devotional resource which enables the people of God to celebrate the grace of the New Covenant, just as God’s people of old praised him in the Hebrew Psalter. The book has been designed to appeal to Christians from all traditions as well as the Catholic wing.
