Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Hi, I'm Rick Walker, and I'm the author of the forthcoming book: 9 Steps to Build a Life of Meaning: How to Unlock Your Mind, Happiness, Power, and Your Enemies' Demise.
I began in the poverty of a two-bedroom home, with big dreams and low self esteem. And curiosity as my lone asset.
Borrowing $1,000 from my Mom I founded and took one business to 400 employees by the time I was 26. I built another company into 6 states. At the same time I led a nonprofit expansion into 53 countries and added over a thousand staff. All in my 20's and 30's.
On the tough outside, I'm a shoot first, ask questions later type of guy. But inside, I still feel that imposter syndrome of a little boy growing up without any hope.
Others explain my work clearer:
Former Secretary of HUD, Dr. Ben Carson, calls my writing "profound, refreshing." Famed podcaster and pastor Paul VanderKlay says I'm "a doer, not a pontificator." Navy SEAL and US Congressman Dan Crenshaw says I am "a leader and a truth-teller...a businessman, yes, but also a philosopher and a scholar...someone who has actually bothered to think original thoughts, a rarity in today's literature."
But more than that, I'm a man who's been plunged into a life of love. A truer life than all the fleeting promises of competency, fame, and wealth. An existence richer than the circumstances of my past. Based on a search for higher wisdom, rather than living to selfishly serve my own future.
For years the world's elite have asked me to begin putting some structure around how I think and live. To communicate the key steps from zero to meaning-filled living. So from their encouragement, and my desire to help others, I have documented the steps, self-improvement tools, and life turnaround principles which have brought me and countless others out of our deepest struggles and into a life of meaning.
Now it's your turn.
Dan Crenshaw is a former United States Navy SEAL officer now serving as the U.S. representative for Texas's 2nd congressional district. He is the New York Times bestselling author of Fortitude.

Shopbeschreibung
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
