In 1986, Sandra left Brazil with three young children and almost no English. She assembled thousands of pacifiers, cleaned houses, and sold cinnamon rolls made in her kitchen. Years later, she faced a serious health crisis following a medical error. As she rebuilt her life, she returned to school and completed her master’s degree at sixty.
Reflecting on these experiences through the lens of Genesis, she recognized principles in the seven days of Creation that were also guiding her life—and that could help others find purpose and direction.
