Within the pages of this book, Scott Sommer LAc. shares the story of his amazing journey with childhood epilepsy, his prayer at age 9, and then his miraculous healing when declared free of epilepsy at age 15. When he was just 9 years old western medicine told him he would never have a normal life. Feeling depressed and hopeless Scott went home and prayed.
Through his Dad’s example and his own extensive study of nutrition (starting at age 9), Scott found the ancient secrets to Vibrant Health. Scott pursued and received a degree in Chemistry, a bachelor's degree in nutrition, and a Master’s in Oriental Medicine. He outlines in this book the impact his father and grandfather had on his healing journey, and how changing your mindset will ultimately change your life.
Scott's unique compilation of 45 years in nutritional research, combined with 26 years of clinical practice helping 1000’s of patients overcome very difficult and complex conditions as he himself overcame.
Throughout the book are success stories of real patients with complex conditions. It highlights the difference between ancient medicine and modern medicine, and the origins of the human body and its ability to heal naturally using food as medicine, and changes in lifestyle. Touching on Biblical principles throughout and simple ways to improve your health so you can live the abundant vibrant life you dream about.
Scott's hope is to inspire, educate, and motivate you with the 12 Pillars of Vibrant Health so you can take control of your own health, by understanding that food matters, mindset matters, and acting upon what you know matters. Change your life by understanding simple truths about food, sleep, digestion, and the electricity within so that you can activate the divine healing power within your own body.
