Dr. Prakash S. Lohar, Head, Department of Biotechnology and Reader in Zoology, M.G.S.M's Arts, Science and Commerce College, Chopda, Maharashtra had his postgraduation from University of Poona, M.Phil. from S.G. University, Surat and Ph. D. from Saurashtra University, Rajkot, with outstanding merit. He has 18 years of teaching experience in Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Medical Laboratory Technology. His research interest ranges from environmental sciences, cytogenetics, in silico drug designing, and rDNA technology. His research papers have been presented in many national and international symposia and he has published 23 research papers in well reputed journals. He is the author of Biotechnology and Endocrinology; Hormones and Human Diseases, both the books being used as textbooks all over India.
