Reseña del editor:
India in Turmoil provides an overview of the blurring of the line that divides external and internal security and the complications that have ensued. A first-hand account of the security operations in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and the North-East, it also provides a glimpse into the functioning of the highest levels of government and the glaring flaws in the country's current political system. Ved Marwah's personal observations, drawn from his own experiences, are supported by extensive research, resulting in a book that will be of interest to security experts, policy-makers and anyone interested in knowing more about contemporary India and its politics.
