John Wagner has been scripting for 2000 AD for more years than he cares to remember. His creations include Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Ace Trucking, Al's Baby, Button Man and Mean Machine. Outside of 2000 AD his credits include Star Wars, Lobo, The Punisher and the critically acclaimed A History of Violence. With over 300 2000 AD stories to his name - not to mention over 250 Daily Star Judge Dredd strips - Alan Grant's prolific creative record speaks for itself. Outside the Galaxy's Greatest Comic, Grant is well-known to Batman fans following a lengthy run on various incarnations of the title. Mark Millar is one of 2000 AD's most prolific story creators, with many co-creation credits including Babe Race 2000, Big Dave, and Slaughterbowl. He has also written for Judge Dredd, Judge Anderson, Rogue Trooper and Zenith with Grant Morrison. Dan Abnett is the co-creator of 2000 AD series Atavar, Badlands, Sancho Panzer and Sinister Dexter. He has also written many classic 2000 AD characters such as Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper. A prolific creator, Abnett has also written for Marvel, Dark Horse and DC Comics. Peter Milligan is one of 2000 AD's most prolific story creators, and has now, of course, graduated to much wider comics fame. As well as co-creating Hewligan's Haircut with Jamie Hewlett, Milligan created the classic future war story Bad Company, in addition to creating Freaks, Shadows, Sooner or Later, The Dead and Tribal Memories. He also contributed several short stories and Future Shocks, and has written Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper stories. Robbie Morrison is one of 2000 AD's most popular writers, having co-created The Bendatti Vendetta, Shakara, Shimura and Vanguard, and has chronicled the adventures of Judge Dredd in 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine. He is also co-creator of fan-favourite Russian rogue Nikolai Dante, which won an Eagle award for 'Best UK Character', beating Judge Dredd to this accolade for the first time in almost twenty years. In the US, he has written Spider-Man's Tangled Web for Marvel and The Authority for DC/WildStorm. His and artist Charlie Adlard's critically acclaimed graphic novel White Death has also been hugely successful in both Europe and the US. Best known for writing Transformers comics, Simon Furman was instrumental in making Marvel UK a success. During the eighties and nineties he worked on many titles for them, including the aforementioned Transformers and also Action Force, Thundercats, Doctor Who Magazine as well as two series he helped create - Dragon's Claws and Death's Head. Simon written several issues of Judge Dredd: Lawman of the Future. More recently he has shared scripting chores with Dan Abnett on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Cam Kennedy is a hugely popular 2000 AD artist, having illustrated many Judge Dredd strips and co-created luckless wannabe creator Kenny Who? and The Taxidermist. A key early Rogue Trooper artist, he has also drawn Batman/Judge Dredd: Vendetta in Gotham, Judge Dredd, Tharg the Mighty, Tharg's Future Shocks, and The V.C.'s. His extracurricular work includes Axel Pressbutton, Batman, Lobo, Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Star Wars. One of 2000 AD 's best-loved and most honored artists, Ian Gibson is responsible for the co-creation of The Ballad of Halo Jones (with Alan Moore), the hugely popular Robo-Hunter (with John Wagner and Alan Grant) and created Bella Bagley, an unfortunate character in Judge Dredd's world who fell head-over-heels in love with 'Old Stoney Face' himself! His work outside the Galaxy's Greatest Comic includes Chronicles of Genghis Grimtoad, Star Wars and X-Men Unlimited. Co-creator of Bad Company, Brett Ewins has also contributed to A.B.C. Warriors, Judge Anderson, Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper and Universal Soldier. Beyond 2000 AD, Ewins was a co-founding editor of Deadline magazine, and co-pencilled and inked the hugely acclaimed Skreemer series. He also created Johnny Nemo, which has enjoyed great success through Cyberosia Publishing. Dean Ormston's otherworldly pencils first graced the Judge Dredd Megazine, where he contributed to the epic Judgement Day saga, and pencilled the popular Raptaur. He is the co-creator of antique oddities Harke and Burr, and has also pencilled Heavy Metal Dredd, Judge Death, Missionary Man, Strange Cases, and Tales of Telguuth. Ormston's other non-2000 AD work includes The Crow, The Invisibles, The Monarchy, Sandman and the DC/Vertigo series Lucifer and The Books of Magic. The stunning painted artwork of Greg Staples has been a cover fixture of 2000 AD for some years, but Staples has also contributed interiors, working on Brigand Doom, The Clown, Downlode Tales, Judge Dredd, Sinister Dexter, Slaine, Tales of Telguuth and Terror Tales. Kev Hopgood was the co-creator of Night Zero and worked on several other strips including Harlem Heroes and Tharg's Future Shocks. Dermot Power's lush painted art has graced Judge Dredd, Slaine and the Batman/Judge Dredd crossover The Ultimate Riddle. He is currently working in the film industry as a concept designer, where he has contributed to Star Wars, Harry Potter and Batman. John Burns' painted art has graced several 2000 AD series, notably Judge Dredd and Nikolai Dante, as well in as his own co-creation, The Bendatti Vendetta. He has also contributed to Black Light, Doctor Sin, The Scarlet Apocrypha, Vector 13 and Witchworld. Outside the Galaxy's Greatest Comic, he has pencilled Eclipse's ESPers and the James Bond miniseries, A Silent Armageddon
