Reseña del editor:
Soon after tragidy strikes her family, Emily's life in 1980's London starts to spiral out of control until she meets Michel and a whirlwind romance leads to marriage, motherhood and a new life in Switzerland. But life in high society Geneva is an isolating experience - and Michel's obsessive clinging to the past, including his beautiful ex-fiancee, plus the loss of Emily's only true friend brings everything to a dramatic head. Fearful of losing custody of her son, she flees to Ireland and the remote family home only to uncover a family secret, with devastating consequences. A compelling novel of a marriage breakdown... and the haunting repercussions of the hidden truths of the past.
