Nutmeg gets Adopted tells the story of three squirrels who have to leave their birth parents, are moved into a foster family, and then to a new mum and dad who adopt them. It is intended to be read to or with children by their own social worker, their current carers or adoptive parents. Guidelines offer suggestions as to how the book can be best used with children.
