Yorkshire Dales Trigpointing Walks

This book introduces the pastime of trigpointing, with 25 walks in the Yorkshire Dales, each aimed at finding Ordnance Survey pillars.They're just pyramids of stone, nothing to right home about, but they're part of our heritage and worthy of our patronage. It's an excuse to get out in the fresh air and try out some new ground, with the objective of reaching the pillars adding a new dimension to the walking experience. Keith Stevens is a retired professional with an engineering background. He had been walking the Dales for twenty years before he asked himself about the mysterious pillars, an inspiration that led to this, his first solo walking book on Trigpointing and Peak District Trigpointing Walks, co-authored with Peter Whittaker.
