An early career in the construction industry, Richard V Frankland worked abroad in Zambia and Jordan before returning to england to work with a Japanese trading house in London administering civil and industrial engineering projects.Moving back to near his birthplace along the South West coast with his wife and two dauhters, he read for a masters degree in Maritime Studies and now operates a chauffered tours business under the title of 'The History Teller'.Apart from writing, his other interests are giving history talks to local societies, sailing and watercolour painting.
