Designed for children aged 1 to 3, they feature Snuggle Bunny and his faithful companion, Huggle Bear. Join Snuggle Bunny at dressing time, dinner time and bed time as well as on a day out. Reading is extremely important for a child s development and we make sure we do plenty of it. Our house resembles a library and I ve had to resort to reading e-books now because we simply don t have enough room for my collection and the children s ever expanding collection. However, I couldn t resist this beautiful collection. The illustrations are simply gorgeous; bright and cheerful enough to capture Tilly s attention. They are designed for 1 to 3 year olds but five year old Giraffe also found them exciting and interesting. We received Let s Get Dressed and Time for Bed and read them before bed as we always do. Giraffe and Tilly cuddled under the duvet while I read Let s Get Dressed . We enjoyed joining Snuggle Bunny and Huggle Bear on cold days, warm days and snowy days and finding out how he dressed for the weather. At the end, Giraffe took great pleasure in showing Tilly where all the different clothes were in Snuggle Bunny s bedroom. Afterwards, we read Time for Bed and associated with our own bedtime routine. Snuggle Bunny s routine is the same as ours and Tilly lost interest once I d stopped reading. Giraffe, however, found where Huggle Bear was hiding and enjoyed talking about his own bedtime routine and comparing it with his own. The Snuggle Bunny series isn t only suitable for 1-3 year olds as my five year old proved. The story and illustrations can capture the imagination of any child. Younger children may not want to expand on the story they ve just been read but Giraffe wanted to discuss and expand on the story which kept his mind occupied. I m so pleased we got the opportunity to try out the Snuggle Bunny s books and we ll definitely be adding Dinner Time and A Special Day Out to the collection. --www.muminthesun.co.uk
